At this year’s System Partner Meeting in Münster at the end of September 2026, the partners of VTL Vernetzte-Transport-Logistik GmbH came together to discuss current business developments, strategic issues and key future topics relating to the partnership. In addition to network development and quality, the focus was on international partnerships, IT cyber security and digital solutions for transport logistics.

Managing Director Markus Egerer and Chairman of the Supervisory Board Jürgen Frömberg provided an insight into the network’s current business performance and outlined its strategic direction. Patricia Geiter, who is responsible for network development, and Quality Manager Robert Rasenberger then provided an update on current developments and projects in the areas of quality and network development.

International partnerships and digital developments

Another key focus of the meeting was the international dimension of the collaboration. The new international partners, Best Logistics North SA (Greece) and Spedition Tim (Slovenia), presented their companies and services, and gave participants an insight into their activities and service offerings.

With increasing digitalisation, the issue of IT security is also coming ever more into focus. In a presentation, Rapid Response addressed the topic of IT cyber security and outlined specific recommendations for action to help companies and employees better protect themselves against cyber risks.

The further development of digital processes was also on the agenda. Marco Schoenen, a director at VTL partner transportami, presented the latest updates to the booking platform and highlighted further opportunities for development and use.

The VTL PartnerAwards recognise outstanding achievements

The VTL System Partner Meeting drew to a festive close in the evening with the traditional presentation of the VTL PartnerAwards. Partners were honoured in four categories:

The awards recognise the partners’ exceptional commitment and achievements and highlight the importance of successful collaboration within the network.

In addition, VTL honoured its long-standing partner, Spedition Steinhart GmbH & Co. KG (Sigmaringendorf), for its strong commitment to the partnership.

The system partner meeting in Münster thus once again provided an opportunity for face-to-face exchanges, for discussing current industry issues and for jointly looking ahead to the future development of the network.
