In February, March and April 2025, the VTL depots from southern, eastern and northern Germany met for regional meetings in Stuttgart, Leipzig and Hanover. The focus was on exchanging ideas, further developing the network and strengthening partnership-based cooperation. Due to the positive feedback, another meeting is already being planned for the western region.

With the revival of the regional meetings, accompanied by the VTL Supervisory Board and representatives of the VTL system headquarters, the CargoFamily has moved closer together again. The aim was to promote dialogue, optimize operational processes and jointly advance the strategic direction of the cooperation.

Key topics such as future IT developments, quality assurance, and operational improvements were discussed. The events provided all participants with the opportunity to share their expectations and perspectives, and to jointly develop new approaches for advancing business relationships within the network.

A particular focus was placed on personal exchange and networking: How can the system headquarters and partner companies work together even more closely in order to be more innovative, efficient and successful together?

“The meetings clearly show how important direct dialog with our partners is – whether at regional events or through regular on-site visits by our VTL staff. Together we can overcome challenges, learn from each other, and develop tailored solutions that strengthen our general cargo cooperation,” explains VTL Managing Director Markus Egerer.

The partners also explicitly welcomed the opportunity for personal exchange at the regional level. Direct contact builds trust, promotes mutual understanding, and lays the foundation for future success in the network. Further events are already being planned to continuously promote dialogue and strengthen collaboration
