(Fulda, 23rd November 2024) The annual system partner meeting of VTL Vernetzte-Transport-Logistik GmbH took place on 15th November 2024. Shareholders, partners and representatives of the system headquarters met in Munich to discuss the past financial year and the future of the general cargo cooperation. The networking event provided an opportunity for interesting discussions and the exchange of new ideas. In addition to the presentation of the VTL Awards, the Jubilees who have been VTL partners for 10, 20 and 25 years were honored.

VTL Managing Director Markus Egerer reported on the developments of the past financial year and gave an outlook on the future of VTL, focusing on the topics of quality, network development and digitalization. This includes continuous process optimization and digitalization as well as improving communication and exchange opportunities. A variety of networking events are planned for next year to strengthen the CargoFamily’s sense of unity and to make the best possible use of network synergies.
In the second part of the event, the participants were able to attend group discussions on current topics, in which a VTL Supervisory Board member and a representative of the VTL system headquarters led the discussions. Potentials and difficulties became clear during the intensive discussions. These provided good clues for the further development of the VTL general cargo cooperation.

The topic block “We are VTL” was rounded off with a keynote speech by Anna-Maria and Hans-Peter Häberle from Ludwig Häberle Logistik GmbH in Schwäbisch Gmünd. Using a holistic approach and practical exercises, the presentation encouraged participants to broaden their own horizons and be courageous about change.

The VTL PartnerAwards were once again traditionally presented in four categories. The VTL PartnerAward in the category “Best Quality National” went to BTG Internationale Spedition from Frankfurt am Main. Dutch partner Claassen Logistics was honored for the third time in a row in the “Best Quality International” category. The depot from Fröndenberg, Spedition Huckschlag, received the award for “Largest National Growth” and the award for “Largest International Growth” was presented this year to CTS Group European Distribution BV from Nieuw-Vennep in the Netherlands.

The honoring and thanking of those celebrating 10, 20 and 25 years of VTL partnership was another highlight. Maier Spedition from Singen has been a VTL partner for ten years. SD Europa from Mollem (Belgium) and Claassen Logistics (Netherlands) joined the VTL network 20 years ago. Kontinent Spedition (Jena), Transfreight (Switzerland), Activ Gesellschaft für Logistik (Ebersdorf), Barth Spedition (Hechingen), Spedition Hoss (Siegburg) and T-S Helmrath Logistik (Kesselsdorf) were honored for 25 years of partnership.
